About

Why we built HVAC Software Hub

There are more than 150 HVAC software tools and no honest place to compare them. So we made one, for the contractors who have real jobs to run and no weekend to spare.

The problem we kept seeing

A tool looks great in a demo, then falls apart on a Tuesday with three trucks out and a customer waiting. The reviews you can find are thin, paid, or written for software buyers, not for the person who has to dispatch the next call.

Comparing 150 tools by hand is a job in itself. Most contractors do not have time for it, so they pick the first name they hear, or the one with the loudest ad, and hope for the best. That is an expensive way to choose.

HVAC Software Hub fixes that. It is one curated directory that compares tools the way a contractor actually decides: on price, the features you will really use, the businesses each tool fits, and what independent reviews say. No invented ratings, no filler.

Who is behind it

Eugene Suslov

Eugene Suslov

Editor, HVAC Software Hub

I build and maintain HVAC Software Hub, a curated directory of field service software for contractors. I write about how to pick tools that survive contact with a real service business.

I spend my days on content, SEO, and automation for B2B companies. HVAC Software Hub is where I bring that same discipline to a corner of software that badly needed it: plain, contractor-first comparisons you can trust.

The studio behind the work

HVAC Software Hub is built and run through busyless, my studio. busyless is a fractional head of content and automations for B2B teams: one partner who owns the whole content function, SEO, social, newsletters, and community, plus the custom automations that tie them together, so you do not hire six specialists and still get none of it done.

That is the same engine behind this directory. The research, the writing, and the tooling that keeps 150-plus tools current all come from it.

What we stand for

  • Independent and reader-supported. We are not owned by a software vendor. Some outbound links are partner links and are labeled as such, but they never change where a tool ranks.

  • We omit rather than invent. If we cannot verify a price, a feature, or a limitation, we leave it out. No fake ratings, ever.

  • Written for contractors, not software buyers. Plain language, real trade-offs, and the honest cases where a tool is not the right fit.
