Service Fusion review
Best flat-rate pricing
Independently reviewed by the HVAC Software Hub team. Last checked July 2026.
Service Fusion is field service management software for residential and light-commercial trades, built around a flat monthly price with unlimited users. It covers the core office-to-field loop: customer records, estimates, drag-and-drop scheduling and dispatch, work orders, invoicing, and payment processing, plus a technician mobile app and two-way QuickBooks sync.
The product is now part of EverCommerce and marketed under its EverPro brand, though most contractors still know it as Service Fusion. Its defining choice is pricing model rather than feature depth: where ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro charge per seat, Service Fusion bundles the whole team into one Starter, Plus, or Pro subscription. That makes it a middle option, more capable than the cheapest per-user apps but far less expensive than enterprise FSM once a shop passes ten field users.
It is a mature, web-based platform rather than a modern, fast-moving one, so the trade is breadth of core features against a dated interface and a slower release pace.
Who Service Fusion is for
Service Fusion fits established HVAC, plumbing, and electrical shops running roughly 10 to 40 field users, where flat unlimited-user pricing beats paying per seat. It suits owners who want scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and QuickBooks sync in one system and care more about cost control than a polished app. It is a weaker fit for one or two-person operations that would pay less on a simpler tool, for teams that want a modern, mobile-first experience, and for large commercial contractors needing deep project management, which is where enterprise platforms pull ahead.
Strengths and limitations
What it does well
- Every plan includes unlimited users at a flat price, so adding office staff or technicians does not raise the monthly bill, which is the main reason larger crews pick it over per-seat tools.
- Native two-way QuickBooks integration syncs customers, products, invoices, and payments with both QuickBooks Online and Desktop Enterprise, reducing double entry for shops that keep their books in QuickBooks.
- Covers the full core workflow (estimates, scheduling, dispatch, work orders, invoicing, and payments) in one platform rather than requiring bolt-on tools.
- Onboarding and unlimited phone, email, and live-chat support are included in the subscription rather than sold as a separate package.
- Add-ons extend the base product where needed: GPS fleet tracking, ServiceCall.ai VoIP call handling, a customer web portal, eSign documents, and open API access on the Pro tier.
Where it falls short
- Reviewers report the system slows down as the historical job database grows, with saving work orders and running global searches getting noticeably laggier over time on larger accounts.
- The mobile app is a recurring complaint, described as buggy and dated compared with newer field-service apps, and some technician workflows feel clunky.
- Product development is slow. Multiple long-term users note bug fixes take a long time and requested features rarely ship, with some citing years of minimal investment in the platform.
- Data portability is limited: self-service exports are restricted and a full export requires paid professional services, with a post-termination window before data may be deleted.
- It is entirely web-based, so glitchy days or slow load times can directly affect dispatch and productivity with no offline fallback.
Service Fusion pricing
Service Fusion publishes three flat-rate tiers, all with unlimited users. Billed annually they run about $208/month (Starter), $325/month (Plus), and $533/month (Pro); month-to-month is roughly $245, $382, and $627. Tiers are gated by features, not seats: Starter covers customers, estimates, scheduling, invoicing, and payments; Plus adds job photos, inventory, job costing, and integrated voice/text; Pro adds open API access, custom and eSign documents, a customer web portal, and progressive/recurring billing. Onboarding and support are included, with no long-term contract. Add-ons are priced separately: GPS fleet tracking is roughly $25 to $40 per vehicle per month, FusionPay card processing is around 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction, and ServiceCall.ai VoIP is quote-based. There is no free plan or free trial.

Verdict
Service Fusion is a sensible pick for established HVAC, plumbing, or electrical shops with ten or more field users who want solid core features and QuickBooks sync without per-seat pricing. Owners who value a modern, reliable mobile app, fast product updates, or easy data export should look at newer platforms instead. It is a cost play on a mature, slower-moving product, not the most polished option.
